In the Garden
On the Trail
Saturday, January 18th at 11am. "Tree Rubbing Hike" Members will create tree rubbings to try to identify trees by their bark rather than leaves. Hike will be at Ashley Reservoir in Holyoke on Saturday, January 18th at 11 AM. The weather is cold so I will send out appropriate dress information to everyone that signs up for this event.

Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 at 5:00 PM,
"Making Birdfeeders."
Members will assemble different bird feeders including clip on, pine cone, and suet feeders. They will learn about the habits and types of birds that stay in New England in the winter.

Friday, January 31st, 2025 at 5pm. During this event members will discuss how we use herbs other than in our food. They will learn how to infused herbs and use that infusion to create a winter soothing skin lotion. We will use the calendula flower to blend a creamy lotion for our dry winter skin. This event will be held at Beyond Crayons Art Studio.
